Welcome to my online portfolio. I am a professional artist specialising in colourful semi-abstract paintings, prints and cards on the themes of Interiors, Travel and Women. I exhibit regularly throughout the year at art fairs and galleries and also enjoy bespoke workshops with all ages, both as individuals and as groups. Recent exhibitions include The Lightbox Gallery, Fountain Gallery, Mall Galleries and the Brazilian Embassy. Recent workshops include ‘Polar Bears and Penguins’ commissioned by the WWF at their Living Planet headquarters in Woking last October, which involved filling a large window with colourful Arctic and Antarctic creatures and mammals. A current planned exhibition is a large solo exhibition at the Barbican Library in London in June-July 2017.
I grew up in the north east of Brazil so my bias towards strong colours began in my childhood. Later on I spent 5 years in Indonesia so that’s probably where the interest in pattern began as I collected their beautiful batiks and ikats. My art training began soon after and continued for several years at Richmond Adult Community College and Wimbledon School of Art. My studio is in Teddington, south west London. It's a pleasant place for a cup of coffee and a chat so drop me an email if you would like to visit to find out more, or make a note of the dates and come to the next exhibition. It would be lovely to see you.
